“We welcome the platform for national consultation proposed by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, intended to discuss federal electoral matters and reach a consensus-based agreement.
I am very hopeful that this new initiative will differ from previous conferences, ensuring a resolution to the electoral dispute—a conflict that poses a grave threat to our statehood and peace.”
