Friday 4 Sep 2026 {HMC} Breaking News: Conflicting reports are emerging about the condition of General Mahad Abdirahman, the former commander of the Somali Custodial Corps, following reports of an airstrike on his home in Doolow, Gedo region.
Local residents reported hearing an explosion at the General’s residence, while some reports indicate that the house was targeted in an airstrike. Other reports claim that General Mahad and some members of his family were injured. However, there is currently no independent source confirming his condition.
General Mahad Abdirahman recently appeared in Doolow, where he called for a military offensive to remove Aadan Madobe’s administration from Baidoa.
