Mogadishu, 13 Sep 2026 {HMC} The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Ali held a telephone conversation with H.E. Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, on strengthening bilateral relations and the latest developments in Yemen.
Minister Abdisalam reaffirmed Somalia’s support for Yemen’s unity, security and stability, and both Ministers underlined the shared interests of the two neighbouring states across the Gulf of Aden, including maritime security and the safety of international navigation.
