Wed, 23, Sep 2026 {HMC} Brigadier General Aadan Mohamed Omar, Commander of the Somali National Army’s Special Forces Command, has concluded an advanced training program in Egypt for units of Somalia’s Special Forces.
The training focused on commando skills, counterterrorism, urban warfare, and parachute operations.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Somali and Egyptian military officials. The training is part of the security and defense cooperation between Somalia and Egypt.
