Belgrade, Republic of Serbia | 1 September 2026 {HMC} H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, accompanied by H.E. Abdisalam Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held bilateral talks with H.E. Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia, on the margins of the High-Level Commemorative Meeting marking the 65th Anniversary of the First Conference of Non-Aligned Countries.
The two sides agreed to strengthen the longstanding relations between the two countries and to expand cooperation in security, the economy and investment. Somalia, one of the twenty-five participants in the first Belgrade Conference in 1961, reaffirmed its commitment to multilateral cooperation and to broadening its international partnerships.
