The Commander of the Somali Land Forces, Brigadier General Sahal Abdullahi Omar Gen Khalid, yesterday afternoon arrived in Teedaan area, Mahaas District, Hiran Region.
Gen Khalid, the commander of the Somali infantry forces, conveyed messages from the country’s top leaders regarding the acceleration of military operations in Hiran.
The Federal Government of Somalia recently deployed a strong force here after the Al Shabaab group captured Teedaan area, from which it is said that the army retreated in a military maneuver.
