Mogadishu, Somalia | 1 November 2026 {HMC} Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Hassan Mohamed Ali (Nadaara), received Dr Humphrey Karamagi, WHO Representative to Somalia at the Ministry’s Headquarters.
The Deputy Minister commended WHO’s support for Ebola preparedness, malaria control and health services in rural communities, and welcomed plans to expand its operations in Somalia.
Dr Karamagi praised the close coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health and WHO, and both sides agreed to deepen their partnership.
