Wednesday 28 Oct 2026 {HMC} H.E. Ali Mohamed Omar, State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, participated in a high-level panel at the 9th World Investment Forum (WIF 2026) in Doha on the role of the private sector in financing development in developing countries.
The State Minister presented Somalia as an emerging investment destination, citing completed debt relief and the new Investment Law, and called for stronger partnerships to mobilize private capital for national development.
