Friday 22 May 2026 {HMC} Sentar. Abdi Hassan Awaale Qeybdiid has left the opposition wing and traveled to Galkayo to participate in the Galmudug election campaign. According to informed sources, Qeybdiid is participating in the direct Galmudug election and has been promised that he will take his seat.
Galmudug is soon hosting the leadership election with candidate Libaan Ahmed Hassan receiving the support of federal leaders, politicians and the Galmudug community.
