Monday, 27 July, 2026 {HMC}– Somalia and Türkiye have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the maritime sector following a visit to Mogadishu by a delegation from Türkiye’s Ministry of Agriculture.
The Turkish delegation held talks with Somalia’s Minister of Ports and Marine Transport, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur.
Deputy Chairman of the Somali Marine Resources Research Centre, Abdirahim Warsame Diriye, said the two sides agreed to further enhance cooperation and investment in the fisheries sector.
