Thursday, 16, July 2026 {HMC} – Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre received Djibouti’s Ambassador to Somalia, Col. Osman Doubad Sougouleh, and Djibouti Police Chief, Col. Abdirahman Ali Kahin, at his office during their official visit to Somalia.
The meeting served as a courtesy visit by the Djibouti Police Chief, who was accompanied by Ambassador Osman Doubad Sougouleh. The officials discussed the longstanding cooperation between the two brotherly nations and their peoples.
Prime Minister Hamza thanked the delegation for their visit, noting that the relationship between Somalia and Djibouti is built on brotherhood, mutual support, and broad-based cooperation.
For his part, the Ambassador praised Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre for his commitment to strengthening the fraternal ties between Somalia and Djibouti, as well as the DanQaran Government’s efforts to deepen cooperation based on the shared interests of both countries.
