Tuesday, June 2, 2026 {HMC}Â Iran has officially inaugurated the largest cancer treatment hospital in the West Asia region.
The medical facility includes 37 specialized departments, 11 advanced imaging and radiotherapy units, and 96 beds dedicated to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. The project was developed with an investment of approximately $1 billion.
The new hospital is expected to provide treatment for up to 200,000 patients annually and is staffed by 280 doctors and specialists in cancer care. The facility is regarded as a major step forward in strengthening healthcare services related to cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment across the country.
