Tuesday July 14, 2026 {HMC} His Excellency Hassan Mohamed Ali (Nazara), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, received His Excellency Ambassador Fadhl Ali Ahmed Al-Hanak, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Somalia, at the Ministry headquarters in Mogadishu.
During the meeting, the Ambassador reviewed the latest developments in Yemen, reiterating Yemen’s unwavering support for Somalia’s stability, unity, and territorial integrity. He also commended Somalia’s position on Yemen at the recent UN Security Council session.
The Somali Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation emphasized the deep historical ties between the two countries, reaffirming his country’s support for the legitimate government and people of Yemen. The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Somalia and Yemen.
