Monday 6 July 2026 {HMC} The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, together with the Leader of the South West State, His Excellency Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur, jointly laid the foundation stone for a road construction, connecting Shati Guduud Airport to the central station of Baidoa city.
The construction of this road is part of the efforts of the Federal Government of Somalia and the South West State to develop economic infrastructure, facilitate social and transport mobility, enhance city services and accelerate business growth.
