Wednesday 8, Jan 2025 {HMC} His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a constructive phone conversation with His Excellency Taher Salem Al-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Libya.
The discussion centered on enhancing bilateral relations and fostering collaboration in various sectors. Minister Al-Baour extended warm congratulations to the Somali government for its election to the United Nations Security Council for the 2025-2026 term and commended Somalia’s remarkable progress in key areas.
Both ministers reiterated their commitment to strengthening the fraternal bond between the two nations and agreed to advance joint efforts on regional and international matters of shared importance.
