Hamas withdraws Gaza cease-fire conditions

Thursday 11 July 2024 {HMC} — The last diplomatic efforts to find a cease-fire agreement in Gaza are underway as Israeli and American intelligence chiefs go to the Valley to meet with the top leaders of Qatar and Egypt.

Negotiations for a ceasefire and the release of people held in Israel will resume today in Qatar.

The White House said that there is still a difference but that the hope of finally reaching an agreement is something to hope for.

It appears that Hamas has remained committed to Israel securing a formal cease-fire before talks begin, but has warned that an intensified Israeli attack could damage the deal.

The people of Gaza said that the Israeli army has intensified its attacks in the north and south of Gaza

The Israeli military dropped leaflets in Gaza telling people to leave and go towards the city center.

This is the second time that people have been told to leave the city since the war started.

The leaflets that were dropped warned people that the city would become a war zone. It is estimated that more than a quarter of a million people still live there.

The leaked documents come as indirect talks involving the United States, Israel, Qatar and Egypt have resumed.
