Sunday, 18-Feb-2024-{HMC} Reports from Garowe, the capital of Puntland administration, say that men dressed in security uniforms gang-raped a 13-year-old girl who was one of the displaced people.
According to the media operating in Puntland and witnesses, this action took place before the morning prayer in a displacement camp called Jingada.
A group behind this action took the girl out of the house where they were staying in one of the IDP camps.
Her family and the residents of Jingada neighborhood who tried to stop the girl, were threatened with gori and raped in front of them.
People in the neighborhood told us that the girl’s mother died a year ago after being shot by a group of drunkards.

In recent times, the security of Garowe City has decreased, which is the reason for the increase in insecurity, which is attributed to people involved in drugs, which are increasing in Garowe City.
